COLD CASE: The Unsolved Stabbing and Murder of Carol Fitzmaurice

On October 20, 1970, at around 6:00 p.m. the body of 23-year-old nurse Carol Fitzmaurice was discovered by her husband after returning to their home at 2678 West Five Mile Road, Allegany, New York. Her body had 14 stab wounds in both her abdomen and upper body. Investigators collected fingerprint and hair evidence from the home, but it has yet to be linked to anyone. Police discovered an uncooked chicken in the oven, indicating that she was in the middle of getting dinner ready when she was attacked. It should also be noted that nothing was stolen.

COLD CASE: The Unsolved Stabbing and Murder of Penny Bell

On June 6th, 1991 46-year-old Penny Bell, a successful business woman, left her home in Buckinghampshire, UK, at 9:40 a.m. in her blue Jaguar XJS, telling the men doing construction on her house that she was late for an appointment at 9:50 a.m.

UNIDENTIFIED DOE: Guadalupe County Jane Doe

The Guadalupe County Jane Doe was discovered by a Highway Department foreman on July 11th, 1978, in Guadalupe County, New Mexico, beside Highway 219 at the junction of US 84 and I-40. It was evident at the scene that she had been shot multiple times, additionally, .22 shells were discovered at the scene. Her body was discovered wearing dark brown moccasin shoes, blue denim Levi cutoffs, and a white and navy vest or halter-top type shirt. Additionally, her ears were pierced three times on the left ear, and two times on the right ear.

She was a Caucasian female estimated to be around 25 years of age, who was around 5’8″ and weighed around 145 lbs. Her hair was blonde or strawberry colored, and she had blue eyes. Its estimated that she was murdered days or hours prior to the discovery of her body.

Serial Killer Rodney Alcala went onto a popular television show called “The Dating Game” during his killing spree. He managed to win the show when the bachelorette pick him, but she decided not to go on a date with him because after the show she found him “too creepy”.

COLD CASE: The Unsolved Murder of Alonzo McGhee

On Friday, January 4th, 2013, at around 11:00 p.m., 44-year-old Lieutenant Colonel Alonzo McGhee was found murdered outside his home on Pale Dawn Place, in Huntsville, Alabama. A neighbor had witnessed what had happened just moments before. They saw McGhee pull into his driveway when somebody shot into the driver-side of the car. They then saw McGhee get out of the car, resulting in his car rolling into a neighbor’s yard. The neighbor went outside to see what was going on, and saw someone sprinting from the scene. McGhee’s body had been shot 17 times.

COLD CASE/UNIDENTIFIED DOE: The Otonabee River Man

The Otonabee River Man is the name given to a man who’s remains were discovered in the Otonabee River, Ontario. His remains was discovered on July 10th, 1988, when a group of  recreational divers were swimming nearby Lock Street and McKellar Street, about 130 feet from the shore. But instead of a body being discovered, the divers only found the man’s severed head. After the discovery, police conducted a seven-day underwater and aerial search, neither of which discovered any other part of the man’s body. UNIDENTIFIED DOE | The Valentine Jane Doe

The Valentine Jane Doe is the name given to an unidentified woman found in West Summerland Key, Florida. She was discovered on Friday, February 15th, 1991, when windsurfers camping in the heavily wooded area near Bahia Honda State Recreation area discovered the unidentified woman’s remains on a dirt path south of the Bahia Honda Channel Bridge. The woman’s unidentified remains were located nearby to an area known as the “Horseshoe” recreational area, which was frequently used as an illegal campground. COLD CASE | The Disturbing Murder of Julia Niswender

23-year-old Julia Niswender was a junior at Eastern Michigan University and was majoring in communication, media, and theater arts, and who had a dream of becoming a reporter and moving to New York. She was described as fun-loving, and that she loved both her friends and family very much. She wanted to get married and have a large family with four dogs. CRIME NEWS | The Murder of 21-year-old Li

A 21-year-old Chinese woman who has only been identified by the last name “Li” was murdered after using Didi Chuxing’s Hitch Service, a service which allows car owners to pick up people going in the same direction.

The incident took place in the evening of May 5th, 2018, at 11:00 pm, when she summoned a vehicle using Hitch so that she could get home from Zhengzhou airport, Henan Province, where she worked as a flight attendant. While in the vehicle, she had reportedly texted her friend that the driver was making her uncomfortable, expressing her thoughts in texts such as: “[The driver] said I am really good looking and he wants to kiss me,”. UNIDENTIFIED DOE | Sacramento’s John Doe

The Sacramento John Doe is the name given to an unidentified man whose body was discovered in 1980. His body was first discovered after an anonymous phone call reported the body to the police. The body was discovered by police on a set of bleachers at a local softball diamond named the Southside Park sports field in Sacramento, California, on January 17th, 1980.
