19-year-old Theresa Allore was a student at Champlain College in Lennoxville, Quebec who was last seen on November 3rd, 1978. She was last seen telling friends that she was going to study and work on a book report, and also made plans with these friends to meet back up at residence at 9:00 p.m. However, she never showed up that night, and was reported as missing on November 10th.

On June 6th, 1991 46-year-old Penny Bell, a successful business woman, left her home in Buckinghampshire, UK, at 9:40 a.m. in her blue Jaguar XJS, telling the men doing construction on her house that she was late for an appointment at 9:50 a.m.

The case of “White Socks” begins on November 25th 1987, with two boys going fishing southwest of San Angelo, Texas, within a remote area nearby to the north shore of the Twin Buttes Lake. Along their fishing trip, in a field at the end of a caliche road which was just off of FM 1266, the boy discovered the skeletal remains of an unidentified man. It was evident from the scene that the man was wearing size 34 x 30 Levi’s blue jeans, size 34 Jockey undershorts, and clean white socks when he died.

On December 9th, 2006, an engaged couple, 34-year-old Curtis Francis and 30-year-old Jennifer Burgette were murdered in there home on Hopper Road in Piketon, Ohio. The couple were shot as they slept in their bed in a case which has now been dubbed the “Hopper Road double murder”.

On Friday, January 4th, 2013, at around 11:00 p.m., 44-year-old Lieutenant Colonel Alonzo McGhee was found murdered outside his home on Pale Dawn Place, in Huntsville, Alabama. A neighbor had witnessed what had happened just moments before. They saw McGhee pull into his driveway when somebody shot into the driver-side of the car. They then saw McGhee get out of the car, resulting in his car rolling into a neighbor’s yard. The neighbor went outside to see what was going on, and saw someone sprinting from the scene. McGhee’s body had been shot 17 times.

On May 4th, 2004, two hikers along the trails off of West Bernardo Drive nearby to the Rancho Bernardo Community Park in San Diego stumbled across the skeletal remains of a toddler. The remains were found within a green and white duffel bag with leather straps, which was underneath an adult-sized green winter jacket with black and red paint stains on it. The remains were wearing a blue vest with a grey hood which had “Football Power” printed on the front, a green sweatshirt with “Winter Fever” on the front, a red sweatshirt with a cartoon girl on the front, a pair of red warm-up pants, and grey-tan socks. Additionally, an adult-sized extra-large sweatshirt which contained the words “Kamikaze Racing Team” were found within the green bag. It is estimated that the child had been dumped along the trail about a year before he was discovered. This child was later dubbed the “Baby Doe” when investigators were unable to discover who the child was.

On May 12th 1997, at around 9:00 a.m., the body of 21-year-old Lisa Lynn Anstey was discovered in a laneway, which was south of Front Street and east-west of Cherry Street, Toronto, in an area which was then apart of a homeless community called Street City. Her body was found beside a wall, face-down and fully clothed except for her right running shoe. It was later determined that she had been strangled. From the body, investigators were able to extract the killer’s DNA, however it did not match anyone currently in the national database. On April 14th, 2016 at around 10:00 p.m., nearby to 137 Street and 115 Avenue in Toronto, a brutal and cold attack was witnessed. Bystanders saw a man, 34-year-old Kelly Thompson, being chased down in the street, and beaten with baseball bats by four or five men, who were described as wearing dark clothing with hoods. On May 25th, 1980, a man who went out for a morning boat ride in the Detroit River near Windsor witnessed a bobbing in the water nearby to some abandoned docks. Upon closer inspection, the man realized that it was a human corpse, which had been tied to a cement block and thrown in the water. This body was later discovered to be 24-year-old Kirk Knight. His death was ruled as asphyxiation, but it was also evident that Knight wasn’t strangled. Investigators are still unsure as to whether Knight was still alive when he was thrown in the water. His body, which had been found tied to a cement block, was also bound and gagged, with police mentioning that this could have caused his death before he entered the water. The Otonabee River Man is the name given to a man who’s remains were discovered in the Otonabee River, Ontario. His remains was discovered on July 10th, 1988, when a group of recreational divers were swimming nearby Lock Street and McKellar Street, about 130 feet from the shore. But instead of a body being discovered, the divers only found the man’s severed head. After the discovery, police conducted a seven-day underwater and aerial search, neither of which discovered any other part of the man’s body.
