UNIDENTIFIED DOE: “White Socks”, Tom Green County John Doe

The case of “White Socks” begins on November 25th 1987, with two boys going fishing southwest of San Angelo, Texas, within a remote area nearby to the north shore of the Twin Buttes Lake. Along their fishing trip, in a field at the end of a caliche road which was just off of FM 1266, the boy discovered the skeletal remains of an unidentified man. It was evident from the scene that the man was wearing size 34 x 30 Levi’s blue jeans, size 34 Jockey undershorts, and clean white socks when he died.

COLD CASE: The Unsolved Murder of Lisa Lynn Anstey

On May 12th 1997, at around 9:00 a.m., the body of 21-year-old Lisa Lynn Anstey was discovered in a laneway, which was south of Front Street and east-west of Cherry Street, Toronto, in an area which was then apart of a homeless community called Street City. Her body was found beside a wall, face-down and fully clothed except for her right running shoe. It was later determined that she had been strangled. From the body, investigators were able to extract the killer’s DNA, however it did not match anyone currently in the national database. COLD CASE: The Robbery and Murder of Richard Thomas Moore

In the morning of December 3rd 1988, the body of 28-year-old Richard Thomas Moore was discovered by a cyclist off of the roadway of Colborne Lodge Drive, nearby to High Park, in Toronto. His body was in some bushes just off of the footpath. It was apparent that the victim had been beaten, and stabbed multiple times. Several hundred yards away from his body, police were able to find his wallet, which was later discovered to be empty. Additionally, a Solingen hunting knife with a black leather handle was found. COLD CASE | The Disturbing Murder of Julia Niswender

23-year-old Julia Niswender was a junior at Eastern Michigan University and was majoring in communication, media, and theater arts, and who had a dream of becoming a reporter and moving to New York. She was described as fun-loving, and that she loved both her friends and family very much. She wanted to get married and have a large family with four dogs. UNIDENTIFIED DOE | Opelika’s Baby Jane Doe

Baby Jane Doe is the name given to an unidentified girl who is aged between 4 and 7 years old. Her body was first discovered on January 28th, 2012, when the son of a resident in Brook Haven Trailer Park in Opelika, Alabama, found a small skull behind her home. Police officers secured the scene, and Investigators were brought to examine the remains. The skull was described as little, and had small hairs on it, with teeth still present. COLD CASE | The Brutal Unsolved Murder of Amy Hooper

Amy Hooper grew up in a household with sisters eight and ten years ahead of her, who were all mothered greatly. She eventually grew into adulthood and started working at Bermans Leather in Westland Mall, a job which she loved, and never missed a day of, or was late to. She had an abundance of friends and often partied at a West Side Bar named Coconuts. She was a white woman who exclusively dated a lot of black men in the year 1992, which was a less tolerant time. She eventually moved out of her mother’s house, and bought an apartment at 4942 Medfield Way, Columbus, Ohio, on February 17th, 1992. She was murdered soon after she moved into her apartment.
